I’ve been experiencing repeated CATIA V6 crashes when working in Drafting on larger assemblies. The application closes unexpectedly—typically while creating or updating views (e.g., section/detail/hidden line) or switching sheets. This happens sporadically across different datasets, and I haven’t been able to identify a consistent trigger or pattern.

To mitigate, I’ve already tried the usual optimizations for both the drawing and the assembly (e.g., simplifying/defeaturing heavy components, using cache/CGR where possible, breaking updates into smaller steps, rebuilding drawings, clearing CATSettings and local cache, and testing with fresh files). Unfortunately, the crashes persist and I’m not seeing improvement.
