We’re excited to welcome @DV as one of our newest CATIA Champions! 🏆

Daniel has been a CATIA user since his university days, starting with V5, and today works as a freelance design engineering consultant across the UK and Europe. His career spans aerospace, road cars, hypercars, and multiple motorsport categories, giving him a truly diverse background in design.

His main expertise is in body engineering — from surface modelling and composites to interiors, exteriors, BIW, and kinematics. Daniel combines parametric surfacing techniques from motorsport with CAS/Class A approaches from automotive, bringing the best of both worlds to his projects.

Outside of client work, he’s also developing a hill climb concept car, using it as a playground to explore new workflows and design philosophies by applying CAS and Class A methods to high-performance motorsport applications.
